The Faculty of Architecture was established on December 31, 2006. Our faculty includes the departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning and Industrial Design. The language of instruction in our departments is English. Among these departments, the Department of Architecture started its education and training in 2010. In 2015, in addition to the English Architecture Education Program, the Arabic Architecture Education Program, which accepts students from Middle Eastern countries, was launched. The Arabic Architecture program accepted students from 2015 to 2018 and produced many graduates. It is aimed to start education and training in the remaining departments when the academic staff is completed.
In the departments of the Faculty of Architecture, it is aimed to train professionals and teaching staff who can successfully represent our country abroad in the fields of Interior Architecture, Industrial Design, Urban and Regional Planning, especially in the field of Architecture, which concerns the formation of the built environment from macro scale to micro scale; who are inspired by the unity of the cultures we transfer and our original cultural productions; who can work problem-oriented. In these fields, it is aimed to carry out research-development, application and publication studies in line with the needs and possibilities of our country and to provide support to public institutions in these issues.
Gaziantep Faculty of Architecture has moved its education and training activities to its new faculty building of 11,500 square meters since the 2017-2018 academic year.
